But you ring Gd, then DVR is off & you test votage contact then DVR on.
Other dot is Rx and Tx.
Use normal TTL2RS232 adapter that you connect to you PC COM or USB
If you use USB do not use power dot!!!

think i have orderd the wrong cable. I order a cable like this one:

Take voltage tester in your hands.
Find contact land him and attached needle and connect to MB.
Find contact + 5V (3.3) and do not use it because your USB option.
The remaining two pins supplied as is, do not go, then reversed.
Configuring the driver on your TTL2RH232 adapter.
In the settings of the COM port put speed - 115200, flow control - none.
Use HyperTerminal program.

I got me a multimeter as i didnt have one and i have searched for a part with four needles to attach to the motherboard.

First i fully unscrewed the motherboard from the case.

Now there are two options to insert the pins in J7 (bottom right) or (J5 Upper left)
At the back J5 has a description as J7 dont.

Tried to get the voltage with a multi meter put it on a insert a needle and tried to read it out but im just a big noob.

First question:
What do you mean with contact land him? Do you mean the squire?

Second Q:
With the back info is it more clear which one i need upper or lower dots?

And what color needs to be used on what needle? as i have 4 colors white green red black.
